Shree Shree Ma Anandamayee Vidyapeeth , Kankhal Haridwar

This residential educational institution for young boys, based almost on the same ideals like that of the ma Anandamayee Kanyapeeth in the Varanasi, was also established through Ma's divine Kheyal in May 1941. Initially for a few years the Vidyapeeth with a limited number of young brahmacharis functioned in Dehradun.

Sri Jyotish Chandra Roy, "Bhaiji" , who left his body in Almora in the year 1937, had the earnest desire to establish such an institution for young boys in accordance with Ma's divine Kheyal. But as that was not possible during his life time Raja Durga Singhji , popularly known as "Yogi Bhai" who happened to be an ardent devotee of Bhaiji , took necessary steps to shift the Vidyapeeth to Alkmora in the year 1945 as soon as necessary facilities for the boys to reside there were complete. The Vidyapeeth functioned there for about a decade and a half in the most ideal surroundings near Bhaiji's Samadhi. Subsequently for a various reasons the Vidyapeeth had to shifted to Bhagat House, Haridwar , and thereafter to Vrindaban ashram and finally to Kankhal, Haridwar , where the institution has been functioning today.

The Vidyapeeth is at present recognized by the Uttrakhand Secondary Education Board upto Junior High School standard. Apart from general education the boys are also given extra-curricular training in devotional music, yoga, prayers etc.
